I loved our trip to Ireland. Dublin is a great city, and I would like to return to see the National Museum of Ireland, the Chester Beatty Library, and some theater. You’ve likely noticed that we did not go to the Guinness Museum, which was deliberate. I genuinely don’t care about the big corporate history of a product. I want to return to Ireland and explore the rest of Ireland. In the meantime, I’ve committed to reading more of the Irish literary greats.
We were supposed to travel early on Sunday, and it was a terrible travel day. Our 9 am direct flight was canceled. We got home about 12 hours later than expected. I had a terrible stomach ache the entire trip that I blamed on the food from the night before. We were flying business class, and I did not take advantage of any amenities. I simply curled up in my lie-flat seat and counted the hours until I was home in my bed.
