I was in class with my Spanish instructor Gabby yesterday, and I may a comment about how I am continuously shocked to see Ecuadorians litter. People throw wrappers and paper where ever they want, and I continued with how inappropriate that would be in the U.S.
She agreed it was stupid for Ecuadorians to litter, but she thought it was even more stupid for people from the U.S. to put all of their trash on boats and dump it in Latin America (or anywhere). And it is incredibly shocking for her to think about the fact that most people form the U.S. do not even know that happens.
I really do have so much to learn.
