This is an announcement to all of my readers. This blog has had a home in Pittsburgh since I started it in response to our 2004 defeat. I have decided to move to Philadelphia, PA in the next few weeks to see what that city is like. I like Pittsburgh a lot, but I am young 24 year old guy who is looking for a bigger city, which provides a few more opportunities. Philadelphia is great for this, because it allows me to continue with my work at SEIU 1199P.
The Steeelers winning the Super Bowl last night is a perfect bookend to my life in Pittsburgh. I have never been a football fan, but I was waiving a terrible towel and hollering at the screen in Lawrenceville. I rushed Butler St with all of the people in the bar and had a great time.
I came to this city as a student at Pitt, a provinvicial little hick, who still believed himself straight, and considered the democratic party part of the real left. I am a proud gay man, with a better understand standing of politics, life, sexuality, and the world. Do I know anything yet? Of course not, but it is time to start a new chapter in my life.
You will be missed, Josh.
jesus christ.
you really are a loser.
I was being sarcastic with the above statement. I meant Josh is a fine individual with a nice cat. He will be greatly missed in Pittsburgh.
