Today a kid peed his pants in my class.  He is a kindergartner, but come on!  I cannot take much more of this stuff.  A few weeks ago I learned the word panzita which is a local word they use for belly.  The kid told me his belly hurt and then puked.

PUKED

I had one pisser last year, and now I am on my second.  Oh and I was stressed out today, because a mother sent a note saying one of the kids had extreme diarrhea and if he started to wiggle around to send him to the bathroom.

Luckily he didn’t shit himself on my watch.

Yesterday I took the GRE for the last time in my life. Never again will I take that putrid test. I got to the Fulbright Center at 8:15 am and didn’t leave until after 12:30 pm. It made for a very long morning.

How did I do? I have no idea, but I do not feel good about it. I ran across 2 major issues on the math that I had not reviewed: standard deviation and graphing the equation of a line. Neither of those two things were in the my practice tests and or review information. It was a little stressful.

Verbal I felt ok with, not great, but ok, which is better than nothing I guess.

Writing I believe I did fine, but I should not get my hopes up. I’ll report my scores in six weeks. Thanks for all of the encouraging words and thoughts leading up to this atrocity.

Today I took my last GRE practice test.

I scored a 540 on verbal (71%) and a 620 on Math (53%). I am happy with the math, but I would like the verbal to go up 50 more points before Saturday.

I just finished my absentee ballot and Barack Obama just got one more vote for President of the United States. Now to get it back to Philly.

My macbook constantly ejects cds and dvds. Whether they are brand new or really old. I know it is not the disks because I can use them in Michele’s macbook without a problem.

I bought a music cd and it will not play. I put a blank CD to burn some music and it is instantly ejected.

Does anyone have any thoughts on why this may be?
